Camp facilities
Main building:
There is a commercial kitchen with walk-in chiller and large chest freezer. Pots, trays, cooking utensils, dish sanitiser, plates and cutlery all supplied. Two BBQ s also supplied and outdoor fireplace.
Accommodation is bunk beds with plastic covered pillows and mattresses.
There is a carpeted recreation room for indoor activities. On site we have 120 beds – the configuration is illustrated in the information pack. One of these facilities has wheelchair access and its own bathroom with 10 beds available on request.
The campsite is very sheltered and warm. However, there are inside wood burners if you require – cut wood is supplied.

Camp activities:
There are so many fun things to do at Camp Bentzon and being part of a group adds to the memories and enjoyment. Groups that have been coming for many years create their own cup challenges for the weekend as well as other activities. You can bring your own boat; anchorage is good outside the camp and we have a camp mooring.
Camp activities for all:
Bush walking, sailing (10 optimists) , 1 x Mac 370 sailboat, 2 dinghies, 6 paddle boards, Burma trail, Bivouac Building , ping pong table (groups only), fitness trail, confidence course, playground, wharf, swim pontoon, open fireplace.
Camp activities for school groups:
Raft building, observatory 10 binoculars, 4 telescopes-weather dependent, orienteering, archery, snorkelling
